The World Gold Council is an international organization formed and funded by leading gold mining companies from around the world. In the United States, the World Gold Council works with gold jewelry retailers and manufacturers promoting gold jewelry through various educational, merchandising and marketing programs. The Council also conducts consumer-based research and supports new product design.
